What's next after Cog Sci?

After I graduate, I am gonna be honest, I don't quite know the exact timeline of how I want things to go. There is a part of me that wants to complete my degree and just chillax for a bit, grab a full time job and just do my thing. Maybe even move to another country and get a full time job wherever that may be. However there is another incredibly eager part of me that wants nothing more to continue my studies within the HCI program at SUNY Oswego.

When looking at the various programs at the recent graduate fair, I realized that any of the other programs I seemed interested in, seemed slightly less interesting to me than HCI has ever been. I know the campus, I know the teachers, and I already know I thoroughly enjoy the content within the program. So, I think I know for a certainty that I want to participate in the Human Computer Interaction program, but its just a matter of when.

A part of me wants to take the knowledge I know now, and move internationally to experience different cultures, learn a new language, work in a foreign environment, and perhaps learn new ways of thinking by engraining myself in an environment before I do the masters program. Then again, it could be advantageous for me to stay and complete the HCI program while I still have Cognitive Science very much on the mind.

Regardless, I know that whatever I do with my future will benefit from the CogSci program and the new way of thinking it afforded me. If you're reading this and are curious about what route I chose to go, you can contact me at my school email, jbaile20@oswego.edu, or maybe you'll end up seeing me somewhere on campus eventually and I can tell you myself!
